The Urbandale J-Hawks softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Boone Toreadors to 6 in the J-Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Urbandale moves its record to 17-11 on the year. The J-Hawks travel to Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Maroons in a CIML game on Tuesday, June 25. The Maroons come into the game with a record of 10-9. Dowling Catholic won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA)

In their next game, the Toreadors clash with the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, June 22. Boone will attempt to move on its 13-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 8-12 record after their 5-3 league loss to Webster City (Webster City, IA).
