The Hinton Blackhawks nipped the host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS baseball squad by a score of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Blackhawks encounter the Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA) in a War Eagle outing, on Monday, June 23. Hinton will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Westerners enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 6-0 league win over Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA).
