The Atlantic Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Charles City Comets to 3 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Albert for a Hawkeye 10 battle on Monday, June 23.

With the loss, Charles City moves to 9-10 on the season. The Comets travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to encounter the Chickasaws in a Northeast Iowa battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Chickasaws come into the battle with a record of 10-8. New Hampton won 9-6 in their recent non-league battle against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA)
