The Shenandoah Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Audubon Wheelers softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 challenge, on Monday, June 23. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Cyclones enter the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 18-7 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).

The Wheelers (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Underwood (Underwood, IA). The Eagles enter the Western Iowa challenge with a 6-19 record. In their last challenge, Underwood was routed by Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 24-4, in a non-league challenge.
