The West Liberty Comets softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Collins-Maxwell to 0 in the Comets non-league win on Saturday.

The Comets now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Branch for a River Valley - South battle on Monday, June 23. West Liberty will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Central City (Central City, IA). The Bears record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Collins-Maxwell moves to 10-6 on the season. The travel to Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA) to confront the Royals in a Iowa Star - South battle on Monday, June 23. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 3-14. Colo-NESCO lost 13-1 in their recent league battle against BCLUW (Conrad, IA)
