The Creston Panthers softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Wayne Falcons to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kuemper for a Hawkeye 10 battle on Monday, June 23. Creston will confront a Knights team coming off a 13-2 league loss to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Knights record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Wayne moves to 14-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to East Union (Afton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Pride of Iowa battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 4-13. East Union lost 17-1 in their recent league battle against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)
