In Saturday's non-league test, the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), by a tally of 9-0.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) in a West Central test, on Monday, June 23. Pleasantville will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record.
The Bobcats (8-12) will now prepare for their test against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, East Marshall prevailed over Nevada (Nevada, IA), 19-0, in a non-league test.
