The Waukon Indians softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Monticello Panthers to 3 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decorah-North Winneshiek for a Northeast Iowa battle on Tuesday, June 24.
With the loss, Monticello moves to 3-15 on the season. The Panthers travel to Midland (Wyoming, IA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 2-15. Midland lost 9-1 in their recent league battle against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA)
