The Wapello Indians softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Wilton Beavers to 4 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winfield-Mt. Union for a SE IA Super - North battle on Monday, June 23.

With the loss, Wilton moves to 9-8 on the season. The Beavers host Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to encounter the Raiders in a River Valley - South battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 7-16. Anamosa lost 2-1 in their recent league battle against Regina (Iowa City, IA)
