In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Carlisle Wildcats softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Regina Regals.
Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River outing, on Monday, June 24. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 22-6 season record. The Comets enter the outing with a 27-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA).
The Regals (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets enter the River Valley - South outing with a 16-6 record. In their last outing, West Liberty prevailed over Washington (Washington, IA), 5-2, in a non-league outing.
