Iowa High School Softball - Fort Madison gets by West Delaware

The Fort Madison Bloodhounds nipped the visiting West Delaware Hawks softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Bloodhounds (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 2-17 record. In their last battle, Mt. Pleasant was edged by Fairfield (Fairfield, IA), 9-6, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now possess a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Solon for a non-league battle on Monday, June 24. West Delaware will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-17.
