The Columbus Sailors routed the visiting Janesville Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Sailors (21-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Wahlert notched a victory over Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 24. Janesville will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 14-15.
