The Pleasant Valley Spartans routed the visiting Durant Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 11-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies go into the non-league battle with a 23-2 record. In their last battle, Muscatine notched a victory over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-20 record. They play next when they host West Delaware for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 24. Durant will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 13-16.
