With the triumph, Monticello improves its record to 16-10 on the year. The Panthers host Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 27. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 19-7. Maquoketa lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Johnston (Johnston, IA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 26. Maquoketa Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Stars come into the game with a 4-16 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA).
