The Springville Orioles routed the host West Central Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Orioles (10-18) will now prepare for their battle against Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 18-6 record. In their last battle, Cascade topped Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now sport a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Dunkerton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 27. West Central will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-16.
