The Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) baseball got by the visiting Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 2-25 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo West for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 27.
With the defeat, Waterloo East drops to 6-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 24. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 13-3.
