The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA) and the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), observed Storm Lake St. Mary's softball team prevail over South Central Calhoun by a tally of 16-5.

The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Boyer Valley was routed by Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Wednesday, June 25. South Central Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 0-13 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 9-3 league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
