The Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks baseball team (Waverly, IA), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA)
The Dutchmen now hold a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Solon for a non-league outing on Saturday, June 24. MOC-Floyd Valley will confront a Spartans team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 20-13.
Next, the Go-Hawks confront the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, June 26. Waverly-Shell Rock will attempt to advance on its 16-10 season record. The Cadets go into the outing with a 3-18 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
