The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) and the visiting Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA), saw AHSTW's softball squad achieve victory over Orient-Macksburg by a count of 13-4.

The Vikings now sport a 13-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Monona for a non-league match on Monday, June 26. AHSTW will face a Spartans squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 24-5.

With the loss, Orient-Macksburg falls to 13-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, June 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-17. Moulton-Udell lost 15-4 in their recent non-league match against Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA)
