North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets now sport a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they host Carlisle for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. North Polk will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-1.

With the loss, East Marshall falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to AGWSR (Ackley, IA) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
