Iowa High School Softball - West Monona bounces South O'Brien

The West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) softball routed the host South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA), 16-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (24-5) will now prepare for their bout against AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 9-8 record.
The Wolverines now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a non-league bout on Monday, June 26. South O'Brien will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 10-10.
