In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the East Sac County Raiders.

The Rockets (3-7) will now prepare for their match against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 1-15 record. In their last match, South Central Calhoun was nipped by Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 19-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, June 26. East Sac County will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 11-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
