The Collins-Maxwell softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Don Bosco Dons to 1 in the non-league win on Monday.
The now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to English Valleys for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 26. Collins-Maxwell will confront a Bears team coming off a 12-0 league win over Keota (Keota, IA). The Bears record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Don Bosco moves to 16-6 on the season. The Dons host Jesup (Jesup, IA) to confront the J-Hawks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 26. The J-Hawks come into the battle with a record of 17-8. Jesup won 11-4 in their recent league battle against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA)
