The Belmond-Klemme Broncos softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Northwood-Kensett Vikings to 5 in the Broncos non-league win on Tuesday.

The Broncos now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Union for a Top of Iowa-West battle on Wednesday, June 25. Belmond-Klemme will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-2 league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Northwood-Kensett moves to 1-12 on the season. The Vikings host Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, June 26. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 4-13.
