The Eagle Grove Eagles softball team scored 13 runs and held the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Mills for a Top of Iowa-West battle on Wednesday, June 25. Eagle Grove will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-4 league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, West Bend-Mallard moves to 2-12 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a Twin Lakes game on Wednesday, June 25. The Indians enter the game with a record of 14-5.
