The Humboldt Wildcats softball squad (Humboldt, IA), was routed 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA)
With the triumph, Storm Lake improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Spencer (Spencer, IA) to face the Tigers in a Lakes contest on Thursday, June 26. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 7-11. Spencer lost 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Mason City (Mason City, IA)
The Wildcats now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Lake for a North Central contest on Wednesday, June 25. Humboldt will face a Lions squad coming off a 11-9 non-league win over Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Lions record now stands at 14-6.
