Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Xavier advances its record to 15-15 on the season. The Saints host Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 26. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 16-7. Anamosa won 6-4 in their recent non-league match against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
The Bobcats now have a 23-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center Point-Urbana for a WaMac-West match on Thursday, June 27.
