The East Marshall Mustangs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting South Tama County Trojans to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now hold a 14-14 record. They take the field next when they host North Mahaska for a non-league test on Thursday, June 27. East Marshall will play a Warhawks team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 9-14.

With the defeat, South Tama County drops to 2-25 on the year. The Trojans host Independence (Independence, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, June 27. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 10-17.
