The Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host North Fayette Valley to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Wednesday.

The Vikings now own a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maquoketa Valley for a Tri-Rivers - West test on Monday, July 1. Edgewood-Colesburg will play a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-10.

With the defeat, North Fayette Valley drops to 2-18 on the year. The host Postville (Postville, IA) to play the Pirates in a Upper Iowa test on Thursday, June 27. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-18. Postville lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA)
