The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), observed Davis County's softball team notch a victory over Mt. Pleasant by a final score of 15-3.

The Mustangs (5-18) will now prepare for their bout against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the South Central bout with a 15-12 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, June 27. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 2-20 season record. The Bloodhounds go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IA).
