In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Glenwood Rams.
The Mustangs (20-2) will now prepare for their match against Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 20-4 record. In their last match, Grinnell nipped West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 8-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, June 28. Glenwood will attempt to better on its 11-18 season record. The Lynx come into the match with a 3-13 record after their 11-2 league loss to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA).
