The Pleasant Valley Spartans overwhelmed the host Lisbon Lions softball squad by a count of 14-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 28. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 22-7 season record.
The Lions (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record.
