In Friday's non-league test, the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) softball squad got by the visiting North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA), by a count of 7-6.
Next, the Lancers meet the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic test, on Monday, June 30. North Scott will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 13-15 record after their 6-1 non-league win over West Burlington (West Burlington, IA).
The Lynx (13-15) will now prepare for their test against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Pirates go into the Tri-Rivers - West test with a 22-9 record. In their last test, Alburnett was nudged by Johnston (Johnston, IA), 4-0, in a non-league test.
