Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Ayr for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, July 5. Grand View Christian will face a Raiders squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-12.

With the loss, Nodaway Valley falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to CAM (Anita, IA) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 30. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 9-15. CAM lost 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Audubon (Audubon, IA)
