The Lenox Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting East Mills to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenandoah for a non-league battle on Monday, July 1. Lenox will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-15.

With the loss, East Mills moves to 2-15 on the season. The host Bedford (Bedford, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, July 1. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 9-11. Bedford won 13-1 in their recent non-league battle against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)
