The Ankeny Christian Academy baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Alta-Aurelia Warriors to 1 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Ankeny Christian Academy advances its record to 12-7 on the season. The travel to Bedford (Bedford, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, July 2. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 19-5.

The Warriors now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emmetsburg for a Twin Lakes match on Monday, June 30. Alta-Aurelia will battle a E'Hawks squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The E'Hawks record now stands at 13-4.
