In Saturday's non-league bout, the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) baseball squad edged the host Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA), by a tally of 4-3.
Next up, the Crusaders encounter the CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) in a Rolling Valley bout, on Monday, June 30. Coon Rapids-Bayard will attempt to upgrade on its 21-3 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 14-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA).
