Iowa High School Softball - Highland succumbs to Assumption

In Saturday's non-league test, the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA), by a tally of 14-0.
Next, the Knights clash with the Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic test, on Monday, June 30. Assumption will attempt to advance on its 18-12 season record. The go into the test with a 13-15 record after their 12-11 league loss to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA).
The Huskies (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Panthers go into the SE IA Super - North test with a 8-16 record. In their last test, Pekin prevailed over Moravia (Moravia, IA), 4-2, in a non-league test.
