In Saturday's non-league test, the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), by a tally of 14-0.
Next, the Maroons clash with the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, June 28. Dowling Catholic will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record.
The Toreadors (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers go into the Raccoon River test with a 14-9 record.
