The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) and the visiting Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA), observed Harlan's softball team prevail over Carroll by a tally of 17-4.

The Cyclones (4-19) will now prepare for their bout against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers go into the Hawkeye 10 bout with a 2-20 record. In their last bout, Red Oak was routed by Atlantic (Atlantic, IA), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Monday, June 30. Carroll will attempt to advance on its 1-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 22-7 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA).
