The Don Bosco Dons triumphed over the visiting Columbus Sailors softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Dons play the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a Iowa Star - North challenge, on Monday, June 30. Don Bosco will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
The Sailors (9-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines enter the North Iowa Cedar - Central challenge with a 15-8 record.
