The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) and the host Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA), observed North Butler's softball team get by Denver by a tally of 6-2.

The Bearcats (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies go into the Top of Iowa-East bout with a 2-16 record. In their last bout, Nashua-Plainfield was routed by Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cyclones battle the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - Central bout, on Monday, June 30.
