The Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) softball nipped the host St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Midgets now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algona for a non-league outing on Tuesday, July 1.
With the loss, St. Edmond moves to 19-10 on the season. The Gaels travel to Algona (Algona, IA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a North Central outing on Monday, June 30. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 13-4. Algona won 9-1 in their recent league outing against Webster City (Webster City, IA)
