Iowa High School Softball - Solon sneaks past Fairfield

The Solon Spartans softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Fairfield Trojans to 4 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Delaware for a WaMaC-East battle on Monday, June 30.
With the loss, Fairfield moves to 14-13 on the season. The Trojans host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to confront the Chiefs in a Southeast battle on Monday, June 30. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 2-20.
