In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Regina Regals softball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Keokuk Chiefs.

The Regals (6-12) will now prepare for their match against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks go into the non-league match with a 5-16 record. In their last match, Mid-Prairie was routed by Lisbon (Lisbon, IA), 12-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA) in a Southeast match, on Monday, June 30. Keokuk will attempt to better on its 3-22 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 14-13 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA).
