The West Marshall Trojans crushed the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 24-6 record. They take the field next when they host Alburnett for a non-league bout on Friday, June 30. West Marshall will face a Pirates team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 17-14.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, July 1. Martensdale-St. Mary's will attempt to move on its 8-17 season record. The Warhawks enter the bout with a 13-10 record after their 4-3 non-league win over West Central Valley (Stuart, IA).
