The Twin Cedars Sabers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Wayne Falcons to 2 in the Sabers non-league win on Saturday.
The Sabers now own a 15-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league test on Tuesday, July 2. Twin Cedars will play a Panthers team coming off a 7-3 league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
With the defeat, Wayne drops to 5-15 on the year. The Falcons travel to Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, July 3. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 12-16.
