With the triumph, Wahlert upgrades its record to 13-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Carlisle (Carlisle, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, July 5. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 27-8.

The Vikings now hold a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Charles City for a Northeast Iowa contest on Monday, July 1. Decorah-North Winneshiek will face a Comets squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Comets record now stands at 21-4.
