With the triumph, Jesup upgrades its record to 20-8 on the year. The J-Hawks host West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, July 2. The Warhawks enter the game with a record of 15-7.

The Vikings now own a 8-26 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a non-league game on Monday, July 1. Vinton-Shellsburg will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-17.
