The Treynor Cardinals softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Stanton Vikings to 1 in the Cardinals non-league win on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenwood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 2. Treynor will confront a Rams team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Rams record now stands at 18-7.

With the loss, Stanton moves to 7-17 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bedford (Bedford, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, July 8. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-11. Bedford won 16-0 in their recent non-league battle against East Mills (Malvern, IA)
